TODAY - Wednesday 28th October

Cool and very windy today with sunny spells and showers. Some of the showers will be heavy and prolonged, with a risk of hail and thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures 9 to 11 degrees. Southwesterly winds will be fresh to strong and gusty, with high seas too.

TONIGHT

Showers will become more isolated at fist tonight. Then after midnight, a spell of persistent rain will extend from the Atlantic, heavy at times, with a risk of localised flooding. Minimum temperatures 7 to 9 degrees, with mostly moderate to fresh south to southwest winds, strong in coastal areas.

TOMORROW - Thursday 29th October

Thursday will be very windy and mostly overcast with outbreaks of rain. There will be some further heavy bursts of rain, with a continuing risk of localised flooding. Misty in places also, with hill and coastal fog, but relatively mild and humid. Maximum temperatures 12 to 14 degrees, in fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds.
