Cold this morning with any frost or ice clearing to leave a bright day with sunshine. There'll be a few showers about but most areas will hold dry. During the evening, cloud will thicken from the Atlantic. Maximum afternoon temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with just a moderate northwest breeze.

Dry at first tonight, but outbreaks of rain will push in across the south of the province later on. A chilly night with lowest temperatures generally ranging 0 to 4 degrees with a light east or southeast breeze, increasing moderate by dawn on Sunday.
