Moy Valley AC racewalker Pearl Sands travelled to Carlow SETU today for the Tailteann Games to represent St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Castlebar.
In a stacked field of talented race walkers Pearl raced smart to take first place.
Pearl was also presented with the Roisin O’Callaghan memorial cup for the best overall race walker on the day. She will go on to represent Ireland in the SIAB championships in England on 19th July.
