Sligo survived a strong test from Leitrim to cement their place in the quarter finals of the Tailteann Cup this afternoon.
Leitrim were 0-11 0-8 up at the break, aided by a strong breeze, despite a black card midway through the first half for Cillian McGloin.
Barry McNulty netted early in the second half to put Leitrim seven points ahead, with a mammoth task for Sligo to get in front.
Goals from defenders Darragh Cummins and Jack Lavin put Sligo back in front late on, while David Quinn impressed with 0-8, including three two-pointers.
