The Mayo minors were six point winners over Roscommon in last night’s opening Connacht championship game.
David Heaney & Tom Reilly’s side were two up at the break, hitting two second half goals to claim victory.
Kobe McDonald & Andrew Quinn both hit the net, with Roscommon goaling twice as well through Dean Casey & Eoin Collins.
Mayo will be happy to have two points on the board and be top of the table after round one.
