Silver for Sligo swimmer

Sligo swimmer Mona McSharry won silver in the 100-metres breaststroke at the European Aquatic Championships in Paris yesterday evening.

Mona clocked a time of 1:05.41 to secure the podium finish and add to the Olympic bronze medal she won in the French capital in 2024.
While Dublin swimmer Ellen Walshe earned gold in the 400-metres individual medley.
This morning, both swimmers are back in the pool for the women’s 200-metres breaststroke.
