Rovers hold Drogheda while Galway drop points

Sligo Rovers v Shamrock Rovers - SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division

 

St. Pat’s moved to the top of the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division last night.

Their 2-0 win over Galway United puts them in first on 22 points, one ahead of Drogheda United who dropped points at Sligo Rovers.

Rovers salvaged a 2-2 draw at the Showgrounds, yet they still remain at the bottom of the table.

Galway man Rory Gaffney netted for Shamrock Rovers in their 1-1 draw with Cork City , while Waterford were 2-1 winners over Bohemians.

Elsewhere, Derry City were 2-0 winners over Shelbourne.
