Rovers and United go through in the cup

Dundalk v Sligo Rovers - Sports Direct MenÂ’s FAI Cup Second Round

 

Last night’s Men’s FAI Cup games saw all the top-flight sides involved go through.

Sligo Rovers got the better of First-Division leader’s Dundalk in Oriel Park, with the other Premier Division sides scoring heavy on the night.

Bohemians scores seven against fellow Dublin side Killester Donnycarney, and Drogheda putting five past Crumlin United.

John Caufield’s Galway United side had a closer game against Tolka, winning 2-0. Goals from Stephen Walsh and David Hurley saw the western side come out on top.

Tomorrow sees the big FAI Cup fixture in Mayo, when Castlebar Celtic welcome Longford Town to Celtic Park. That game kicks off at 5:00pm.
