The Mayo minors suffered defeat last night in their Connacht Championship Round 3 meeting with Roscommon.
Tom Reilly & David Heaney’s side were beaten by nine points, despite hitting the net three times.
Roscommon, managed by Charlestown’s Shane Moran, have won all three of their opening games having beaten Sligo and Galway in previous weeks.
Mayo will be looking to get back on track next Friday when they host Sligo.
Elsewhere, Galway survived a late scare in Tubbercurry to see off Sligo by two points.
