Mayo Sports Partnership has allocated €30,770 to 56 clubs and community organisations across the county through the Partnerships 2025 Club Development Small grant scheme.
This significant support, according to the organisation, is only possible through Sport Ireland and Dormant Account funding.
Of the benefitting clubs, Castlebar Golf Club, Dragon Boat Club Ballina, Moy Davitts GAA and Tullaghan Bay Rowing Club will each receive €800.
Announcing the allocations Chairperson of the Partnership Lyndon Jones congratulated all organisations on their great work promoting sport / physical activity in the community.
“Mayo Sports Partnership is delighted to support our communities in whatever way we can. This small grant scheme is particularly aimed at supporting minority sports / groups who may need some equipment or expertise to assist them in delivering their activities”
