Team Merry Monk Ballina have won the Basketball Ireland Development League Plate Final.
It’s the first time in decades that a national title will come back to the North Mayo capital, and an 11th national crown in history.
A fantastic third quarter was the winning of the game for Ballina, with Theo Daly shining brightest in that period.
Daly’s tally for the day totaled to 23 points, which earned him the MVP award.
Ronan O’Malley (23) & Ronan McGarrity (18) also scored high on the day.
