Mayo man in Minor Team of the Year

Mayo’s Ben Holmes has been named as part of the 2025 All-Ireland Minor Football Team of the Year.

The Westport full-forward is not the only Connacht representation in the side, with Roscommon’s Dara Curran  grabbing a spot in the half-forward line.

The All Ireland finalists, Tyrone and Kerry, dominated the side, with Tyrone having six players listed, as well as their own Peter Colton being named minor player of the year.

The Kingdom saw half a dozen players named in the squad of the year as well.
