The Mayo Schoolboys/girls and youths had three of its girls teams in Inter
League action on Saturday. The Mayo U12s lost out 3-1 to Cork in a Cup
Quarter Final played in John O Sullivan Park, Ennis. Lucy Murphy got the
Mayo goal. The U13s suffered a similar scoreline at home to NERL in Umbro
Park with Violet O Malley getting the Mayo goal. Despite losing yesterday,
both sides are delighted to have finished in the top seven in Ireland in
their age groups.
The Mayo U15S faced Galway in their final group match also at Umbro Park. A
Caoimhe O Donnell inspired performance saw Mayo run out 5-0 winners with an
O Donnell hat-trick and a brace from Sophia Cardillo. Mayo now move onto to
another Cup Quarter Final.
