The Mayo minors got their Connacht championship off to a winning start last night.
David Heaney & Tom Reilly’s men were five point winners over Leitrim.
Elsewhere, Roscommon got the better of Galway.
Roscommon, managed by Charlestown native Shane Moran, are now top of the table after two wins in their opening two games.
Mayo are out again next Friday away to Roscommon.
