The AFLW season begins next week, on Thursday 14th of August.
There is significant Irish, and especially Mayo interest in this season. Representing the Green and Red down under, Grace and Niamh Kelly play for Adelaide.
As well, Maria Cannon and Dayna Finn will line out for Carlton. Sarah Rowe will wear the Collingwood jersey, while Rachel Kearns plays for Geelong, and Aileen Gilroy reps Hawthorn.
Irish coverage of the tournament starts on Saturday 16th of August, when TG4 will show two deferred matches each weekend, as well as a highlights show on Mondays.
