Mayo FC have confirmed that current Under-20 manager Anthony O’Neill has been appointed to the role of Senior manager for the upcoming 2026 League of Ireland National League campaign.
Mayo FC who will enter the third tier of soccer in the country confirmed the appointment in a social media video.
Late last year, the UEFA ‘A’ Coaching License holder vacated his position as Director of Football and first-team manager at Westport United to take on the challenge of the Under-20s.
O’Neill was also previously part of the coaching setup as Galway United First-Team Coach and Youth Head Coach.
