Mayo hvae exited the Oscar Traynor Cup, losing to the Limerick League today in Umbro Park.

Two goals in the opening five minutes for Limerick really put Mayo on the back foot.

Kieran O’Connell scored in the opening minute before Shane Walsh struck a penalty moments later.

Captain Jordan Loftus pulled one back for Mayo before half time but Joe Kelly’s side were unable to get an equaliser.

Wexford will meet Limerick in the final after the Leinster side beat and dethroned the champions, Waterford.
