Mayo will play a charity match on Sunday week in aid of Mayo Cancer Support against Offaly.
The game will take place at 1:30pmin Hastings Insurance MacHale Park which will be followed by a Meet & Greet.
Mayo Senior Football manager Andy Moran has this lunchtime given a squad update ahead of the new campaign.
The team are recently back from a training camp in Portugal and the Mayo boss says over the next number of weeks they will try out a number of players in challenge matches as well as in the FBD Games at the start of January.
He also says they are quite fortunate that they have no long term injuries in their squad at present.
