Former Mayo Ladies’ manager Liam McHale has joined the Ardnaree Sarsfields senior squad management team for this season.
In a statement released by Ardaree Sarsfields GAA on social media, they said:
“Ardnaree Sarsfields are proud to announce that former Mayo football star and Irish basketball legend Liam McHale has officially joined the management team of our senior squad for this season.
A dual-sport icon with a remarkable career at both inter-county and international levels, Liam brings with him a wealth of experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of elite-level performance. His presence is a massive boost to our club and we are thrilled to welcome someone of his calibre and passion for sport into the fold.”
McHale joins the Ardnaree management team following his resignation as manager from the Mayo ladies senior team, after last weekend’s relegation play-off match. Mayo beat Leitrim in the play-off, securing senior football status for next year.
