It is reported today that Joe Brolly has taken charge of the Knockmore Senior Ladies team.
Last season’s beaten county finalists have appointed the Derry native as their manager.
Brolly has been involved with the North Mayo club in recent years at a coaching level, working within Ray Dempsey’s backroom team as a head coach and selector for the men’s side.
The 1993 All-Ireland winner will now look to bring the saffron and blue back to the top of the ladies circuit, with the club last experiencing Championship glory three years ago.
In a social media post yesterday evening, Knockmore GAA said “the Knockmore LGFA chairperson, Patricia Dempsey, is happy to announce that Joe Brolly has been appointed as the Knocmmore LGFA Senior Manager.”
