Castlebar Tennis’ Eoghan Jennings delivered an incredible performance this morning in South Africa, in the Pretoria J200.
The Mayo man dropped the first set in his quarter-final against Iaroslav Klishin, before claiming 10 of the next 11 games, to win 5/7, 6/3, 6/1.
He faces the tournament’s top seed and world no. 57, South Africa’s Connor Doig in the semi-finals tomorrow.
Progression will earn Jenning’s valuable ranking points, as he aims to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournament’s next year – the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.
