Castlebar Tennis’ Eoghan Jennings has lost his semi-final at the J200 in Pretoria.
He won his quarter-final against the tournament’s no.1 seed, Connor Doig (SA), in three sets (6/2, 6/1, 6/4).
However he was beaten in his semi-final tie by Nigeria’s Oluwasen Peter Ogunsakin in two sets.
His charge in this tournament will see him earn valuable ranking points, as he aims to qualify for all four grand slams in the 2026 season.
The Clemson star sunk a 20-foot putt to secure the European Amateur Team Championships.
