Jack Crowley will start at out-half for Ireland in Saturday’s Six Nations clash with Italy in Rome.
The team shows six changes in all following last weekend’s defeat to France, with Garry Ringrose returning from suspension.
Jack Conan, Mack Hansen, James Lowe and James Ryan have also been included in the starting 15.
Tadhg Furlong is among the replacements having recovered from a calf injury.
