Hurler of the Week nomination for Mannion

Galway sharp shooter Cathal Mannion has been nominated for Hurler of the Week.

Despite losing to Tipperary and getting knocked out of the championship, Mannion’s 0-13 haul was exceptional.

Conor Burke helped Dublin to an historic win over Limerick with 0-5, while Andrew Ormond also stuck 0-5 for Tipperary, with both players also nominated.
