While Rovers are still bottom of the league, they’re level with Cork City and just one behind on scoring difference.
Cork lost out 3-2 to St. Pat’s, while Shamrock Rovers kept their lead at the top of the table with a 3-1 away win against Waterford.
Bohemians got the better of champions Shelbourne by 1-0, and Drogheda drew 1-1 with Derry.
