Dylan Watts held his nerve from the penalty spot as Shamrock Rovers edged out Derry City 1-nil last night in the Premier Division of the SSE Airtricity League.

Saint Patrick’s Athletic won at thriller at Tolka Park, with Max Mata’s header giving them a 3-2 win at their rivals Shelbourne.

Table toppers Bohemians beat Waterford 1-nil at the RSC and it was 2-all between Galway United and Dundalk.

Tonight Drogheda United are on the road to Sligo Rovers.
