The funeral arrangements have been confirmed for Roscommon’s Don Connellan.
The 51 year-old father of two passed away on Monday, following an illness. he will be laid to rest in County Galway.
His requiem Mass will take place on Thursday August 7th at 12 noon to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen. He will be laid to rest immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
In 1993, Connellan made his senior football championship debut for Roscommon, in a Connacht semi-final victory against Leitrim at Carrick-on-Shannon.
Connellan won a Connacht title with Roscommon in 2001, overcoming Mayo in the final.
