Castlebar Celtic’s FAI Junior Cup journey has been shrouded in controversy, after their 3-0 defeat to Villa FC in the third round.
Celtic launched an appeal against the Waterford side’s victory, claiming that they (Villa) fielded an illegal player during their cup meeting.
After a lengthily legal battle, Celtic won their appeal, and thus they face their Galway opponents in less than 10 days time.
