The Mayo senior camogie team lost out to Cavan this afternoon.

This was Mayo’s second defeat in a row in the All Ireland Premier Junior Championship.

Cavan were ten up after just 15 minutes, and continued their strong performance to dominate throughout.

Lilian Keane goaled for Mayo from a long free to put a better slant on the scoreline, but still went in 3-8 1-3 down at the break.

Late on, Mayo’s second goal was scored by Ciara Delaney.
