Connacht FA have today confirmed that the Mayo Football League presentation awards night tomorrow has been postponed and a new date will hopefully be arranged by the incoming Mayo League Committee.
Connacht FA have also said that they have taken the decision to defer the start of the Mayo League 2026
season as a purely precautionary measure.
The EGM is scheduled for Wednesday 4th February 2026.
To allow the new committee reasonable time to settle in and arrange the schedule the Connacht FA felt it
appropriate to take this decision now in fairness to the new Management
Committee and to allow clubs to prepare in a timely fashion for the new
season. If the new LMC wishes to proceed at an earlier date that is
entirely a decision for them to take.
