Geesala native Clara Barrett has been nominated by Connacht Rugby for their senior woman’s player of the year award.
The back is one of five players to be nominated, along with Jemina Adams Verling, Hannah Coen, Orla Dixon & Eabha Nic Dhonnacha.
The winner of the award will be announced at the Dexcom Stadium tomorrow night.
There was the usual buzz of anticipation as a huge field assembled at the start at An tSráid Árd.
