Mayo’s Jack Carney has been nominated for the award of GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The Kilmeena man contributed 1-3 in yesterday’s victory over Donegal, securing Mayo’s place in the league final.
Also nominated are Limerick’s James Naughton and Tyrone’s Darren McCurry.
Naughton scored a whopping 4-12 for Limerick in their win over Waterford which earned them promotion from Division 4.
McCurry was both scorer and creator for Tyrone in their win over Dublin.
He scored 0-9 and was heavily involved in two Tyrone goals.
The Player of the Week will be decided based on votes cast by followers of the officla GAA Instagram page, and the winner will be announced tomorrow.
