There’s a busy week in store for Mayo sides, with provincial hurling and football taking place over the next seven days. Mayo’s senior footballers are at home to Roscommon on Sunday at 4:00pm, in the Connacht SFC Semi-finals. The Green and Red go into this one with confidence, following an opening round win over London earlier this month. Roscommon will also arrive to Castlebar with confidence, following a comprehensive victory over New York on the same weekend.
The Mayo U20 footballers already have their Connacht Final spot secured following a win over Galway last weekend, so Keith Higgins’ side will wait as the Tribesmen and the Rossies do battle in Wednesday’s Semi-final.
In the hurling, Ray Larkins’ side will be looking to bounce back from yesterday’s loss to Tyrone and make it two wins from three when they play Fermanagh in Brewster Park on Sunday. That one will throw in at 2:00pm on the day.
