Ballyhaunis golfer John William Burke has qualified for the Flogas Irish Men’s Amateur Championship at Seapoint.
This comes off the back of his performance at the U18 Boys’ Open in Cork, and he now goes on to Ireland’s biggest amateur event.
John William tees off at 2:44pm on Thursday, and 9:39 on Friday, hoping to make the weekend cut.
He has also been called to play for the Ireland U18s against Spain on Monday & Tuesday next (May 12 & 13), at Royal Dublin Golf Club.
Joe Joyce, Shamus Hurly Langton, Paul Boyle and David Hawkshaw all come in to start at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.…
