A Ballyhaunis golfer is competing at Ireland’s biggest Men’s Amateur Golf Event today.
John William Burke tees it up this morning at 9:50am in the Flogas Irish Amateur Open, being played at Seapoint Golf Club.
He’ll play 18 holes today, followed by 18 on Friday and 18 on Saturday, hoping to make the cut for the final 18 on Sunday.
The ladies have yet to chalk up a win in this Championship campaign.
