Gold for O’Rourke

World Boxing Championships 2025 - Sunday

 

Roscommon’s Aoife O’Rourke’s has gotten a gold medal at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool after beating Turkey’s Busra Isildar in the 75kg final.

Ireland will bring home their best haul from the tournament since 2015, with Grainne Walsh and Patsy Joyce both landing bronze medals.
