The highly anticipated launch of the 2025 Mayo AC 5k Series took place at EBS Castlebar recently, marking the beginning of an exciting summer season.
Mayo AC is delighted to announce that EBS, Intersport Elverys, and Shaw Commercials have joined forces as the main sponsors for this year’s series. Their generous support is invaluable and will undoubtedly play a crucial role in ensuring the series’ success.
In addition, Mayo AC is proud to welcome the Mayo Mental Health Association as Charity Partners for this year’s events, reinforcing our commitment to promoting mental well-being within the community.
This marks the 13th edition of the popular 5k series, which will feature five exhilarating races – all chip timed.
It serves as the club’s primary annual fundraiser, and your support will be greatly appreciated.
One of the standout events will be hosted by our friends at Westport AC, set against a breathtaking backdrop as the course winds through the stunning grounds of Westport House.
We warmly invite everyone to join us in making the 2025 5k series a memorable celebration of community, fitness, and fun!
The Series will take place over five consecutive Tuesday evenings, starting in Castlebar on May 13 and running through mid-June.
Please note that bib collection and registration will close at 7:45 PM SHARP at each race location on race evenings, with all races commencing at 8 PM.
Every runner who signs up for the full series must keep the bib number which they receive on the 1st night of the series in Castlebar.
This can be re-worn for the other races.
Otherwise, there will be a fee for an additional bib number if you forget it on any of the following race evenings.
