Una Mangan neé Barry

Dunmore, Co. Galway & formerly of Carrigkerry, Co. Limerick – peacefully at home in her 97th year (February 23^rd, 2026).

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Martin & Catherine & her brother Pat.

Una will be sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mary (Stack), brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews & nieces, great grand nephews & nieces, relatives, neighbours & a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore, H54 NY61 this Wednesday, February 25th from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to The Church of Our Lady & St. Nicholas, Dunmore.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Dunmore cemetery.

I’m so sorry to read the lovely Mrs Mangan (my teacher from years ago) has passed away🙏
She was such a lovely lady and a wonderful teacher, with great “patience”!!! She always called my name “As Gaeilge”
I loved to meet her when she’d be out for a walk, and we would start reminiscing of those marvellous days in the Vocational School!
