Although I didn’t know Tommy, Rhona, (his daughter in law), told me this morning, after Sunday Mass this morning in Cooneal Church, that Tommy had passed away. His grandson, Darragh, was serving on the altar at that Mass where I was playing – what a brave and plucky young lad! I have great admiration for members of any family who, despite their grief, honour their family obligations. God bless Darragh and indeed all the Tighe family.
