Cloonagh, Dunmore, Co. Galway – died peacefully, on 2nd January 2026, in the tender loving care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Knock, surrounded by his family, in his 92nd year.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Annie, his wife Ann and brother Peter.
Tommy Joe will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his daughters Bernadette (Daly), Sinead (Cunningham) and Lynne (Gilmore), sons Anthony, Tom, Christy and Peter, his 9 adored grandchildren Fionn, Emma, Kayla, Lucy, Jack, Tomás, Seán, Kai, Peter, spouses and partners Seamus, Jon, Shane, Yvonne, Nam and Crystal, sister Margaret Diskin, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore (H54 NY61) on Monday evening, January 5th 2026 at 6pm with removal to Our Lady and Saint Nicholas Church (H54 Y573) at 8pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11.30am Tuesday, January 6th 2026, followed by burial afterwards to Dunmore cemetery.
