Tim O’Connell

Carrowbaun, Westport, Co. Mayo and formerly of The Bronx and New Jersey, USA – peacefully, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his first wife Catherine, son Liam, brother Pat and his stepson Christopher.

Tim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette (née Conroy), late Ballytrasna, Ballinrobe, sons Tim and Seán (Kristin), brother Joe (Gordon), sister Mary (Denis), step-daughter Tarrah, his four grandchildren Grady, Ambros, Elodie and Liam, brothers-in-law Sean (Castlebar), Eamon (London) and Colm (Cong), sisters-in-law Máire Flynn (Galway), Della Conroy (Ballinrobe), Patricia Mills (Dublin), Ann Walsh (Waterford) and Jodi Bowe (Foxford), nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.

MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at his residence (F28 R205) on Sunday (July 20th) from 5:00pm, concluding with prayers at 7:00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday (July 21st) in St. Mary’s Church, Westport with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale cemetery.

Dearest Bernadette & family,
During this difficult time there will be hugs. There will be tears. There will be people who won´t know what to say. There will be some who will still make you laugh. There will be pictures and keepsakes. Memories and stories –
Some you´ve never heard and probably some that you could never hear enough. There will be sorrow. There will be celebration of a life well lived.
