Tim Dowd

Slieveroe, Tibohine, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon (March 4th, 2026) – peacefully surrounded by his heartbroken family in Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased less than 2 weeks ago by his beloved wife Olive, his parents Timothy and Mary and his brothers Joe and Pat.

He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his children Olivia (Michéal), Ray (Orlagh), Christina (Christopher) and Mary (Gary), her grandchildren Molly, Jamie, Jessica, Alex, Ruby and Ollie, his sister Martina, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Josie, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Tim will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Friday evening from 5 o’clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive to the Cathedral of the Annunciation and St. Nathy, Ballaghaderreen on Saturday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon.

Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
