Thomas passed away peacefully in his 93rd year, on Friday 27th February 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Maura Rabbitte (née Collins), his parents Peter and Mary Rabbitte (Lavally East) and his brother John Rabbitte (Kingston, Taylors Hill).
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family. His children: PJ, Marie (Finnegan), Gerard, Peter, Carmel, Kevin, Oliver and Yvonne (Flaherty); his brothers Stephen (Lavally East) and Peter (Castlebar) and his sister Mary Potter (Chorleywood, UK); his daughters-in-law Breege, Cathy, Sally, Annette and Tina; his sons-in-law Pat Finnegan and Noel Flaherty; his adored grandchildren Olivia, Aisling, Connor, Grace, Adrian, Jason, Jake, Thomas, Ellen, Mary, Anna-Lisa, Aoife, David and Sophie; his great-grandchildren Rian and Amelia; nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Peggy and Teresa; brother-in-law Frank; relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Clonberne Community Centre on Sunday, 1st March 2026, from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock
Removal from the family home on Monday, 2nd March 2026, for Funeral Mass at 12.30 pm in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne, followed by burial in Clonberne Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please.
