It is with deep sadness we heard of the passing of Thomas Prendergast. Better Known to us as Tom P or T Prender. It was 2 weeks ago we had a picture take at Ballintubber V Mayo Gaels GAA match in Mayo Abbey. As Louis Walsh the photographer said the gang of trouble makers. The Craic was good and its hard to take in that 2 weeks later we will be at his funeral Mass. He was a gentleman and always had a bit of devilment in him.
To his wife Nula, son Kenneth, daughter Ashling, brother Gay and sister Sally, daughter in law Breda, Ashling’s partner Stewart. Grandchildren Kaden, Keefe, Kalem and all the Prendergast and Jordan families, we offer our deepest sympathy and may his soul Rest In Peace

We were so very sorry to have learned of the untimely passing of Tommy Prendergast. The beautiful condolences I have just glanced through, said so much about the great person in which he was. I said to myself Tommy would have to be a very good person, with having a wonderful brother like Gabriel from the Tool and Hire Shop in Claremorris, always keeping the customers satisfied, he too has an unrivalled wit, with timeless patience.
I send my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to dear Nuala on the death of her much loved husband, to Tommy’s son and daughter Ashling and Kenneth, to his adored grandchildren. Sympathy going out to Tommy’s brother Gabriel, his wife and family, to his sister Sally on the death of Tommy, who was a cherished husband, father, grandad, brother, uncle, father-in-law, and to all of the extended Prendergast, Ralph, and Jordan family. To his neighbours and many friends.
For those of us who have gone through grief, when all is said and done, grief is the big price we pay for love. Grief and love are joined together.
We don’t get one without the other. I am frightfully sorry that I will be unable to attend Tommy’s Funeral Service or Mass. May Tommy’s kind and gentle soul rest in heavenly peace Amen 🙏

Tommy was a great neighbor to us growing up in Ballyglass and his father Martin and mother Martha were the kindest people one could have as neighbours. My mother Bridie and Martha were great friends and Tommy’s sister Sally always called to see mam for a visit. We all missed her when she went out of Ballyglass..
Heartfelt sympathy also from my mother Bridie Boyle who is in hospital at the moment. She was very upset to hear of Tommy’s passing and knew him from an early age in the village.
