Im deeply saddened to see my old friend Tommy has passed. I know Tommy since the time I was working in Lavelles shop in Ardnaree and he was lodging in Mother Armstrongs. In the evenings we used to eat dinner together in Mothers. He later became a great friend to my husband Cathal RIP and to my sister in law Mary RIP. After Cathal died he was instrumental in reforming the Abbey Ramblers Darts team who went on to win the competition. Tommy was always such a big part of our family and I will miss him dearly. He was always great fun and we also had many a laugh at the Ballinrobe races and his cally parties in later years with Ann RIP. Condolences to Tommys family. Rest in peace my

It is with great sadness that I read of Tommy’s passing. He was one of nature’s gentlemen, kind and very generous, always pleasant, and willing to see the best in people and situations that came his way. He was a work colleague of my late husband and a golfing buddy as well, combined with Friday night frolics in Vincys, after work where many a tall tale was told.
