Teresa Owens née Brock

Kanesfield, Tulsk, Castlerea, County Roscommon – peacefully on 20th August 2025, with her loving family by her side and in the wonderful care of the staff of The Plunkett Community Nursing Home, Boyle.

– Born 24th June 1926

– Died 20th August 2025

Predeceased by her husband Tommy, her brothers Tom and Jim, her sisters Marie, Nellie, Annie, Bridie and Winnie.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her daughters Mary (McCormack), Una (Heneghan) and Helen (Brady), her sons Gerry, Tommy, Jimmy and Larry, her 16 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Teresa’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett on Friday evening, 22nd August 2025 from 5pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St. Paul’s Church, Kilmurray.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning, 23rd August 2025 at 11.30am followed by burial afterwards in Rathmoyle Cemetery.
