She was such a generous lady and shared her vegetables and new potatoes from the farm with my aunt on Corcoran Tce. Her wonderful baking and jam making was to die for and was also shared with neighbours and friends. May she Rest In Peace in the company of her husband Michael and her daughter Yvonne. We were lucky to have known her.

We lived in Marian Crescent in our formative years in the 60’s and no better place to live there with the fantastic neighbours & your beautiful kind Mum Susan at the end of the Crescent..always all smiles and the kindest words..looking out for us all playing in the green..and every door open to call in anytime. It takes a village as they say We had the best of times. I had the privilege to meet Susan and you all at the Crescent reunion and she remembered me & chatted like we were still the very best of friends💫

She was always smiling and pleasant to everyone, always ready for a chat, reminiscing on the good old days of Flower Shows in the old Moy Hotel and later in the Community Centre , the craft workshops, the craft competitions and Branara awards. the set dancing, and participating in the St Patrick’s day parade on the back of a truck with Swanie O Hora providing the music on his accordion.
