Vancouver, Canada and formerly of Derryvoung, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. 6th February 1942 – 6th February 2026 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Roscommon Hospice.
Predeceased by her parents John and Catherine, her brothers Christopher, infant brother John and Eamon, her sister Mary Keaveney, her nephew Padraig Keaveney, brother-in-law John Keaveney and sister-in-law Teresa Burke.
Sr. Catherine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family both in Ireland and Canada. Her brother John Joe (Derryvoung), the Sisters of the Child Jesus, Canada with whom she shared her life with for sixty-six years. Also, by her sister-in-law Maura, her nieces and nephews: John, Cathy, Gerard, Anne, Sean, Tommy, Kathleen, Gerard, Raymond, Mark and Michelle, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends both in Ireland and Canada.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church Granlahan on Monday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
