Sheilagh Margaret Groom (née Wing)

Corrimbla, Ballina, Co. Mayo & formerly of London and Wrexham, Wales (22nd September, 2026) – peacefully at the Sonas Riverview Nursing Home, Ballina.

Predeceased by husband Robert and her twin girls Claire & Laura.

Sheilagh, beloved mother of Nick, Anna & Danny.

Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, Danielle, Cilléin & James, James & Grace, Jessica & Isabelle, great grandson Lachlan, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Mc Gowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Thursday evening from 6pm until 7.30pm.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Friday morning for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation in McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home, Collooney, Co. Sligo, (F91 AKW5) at 1.30pm.

Sheilagh’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
