I am shocked when I heard that Seamus had died, rip I knew him working in George Delaney’s hardware shop in Abbey street in the 19 70 s he would sell me tractor diesel 4 5gallon drums for 2 25 each 9 pound for the 4 5 gallon drums of tractor diesel, he was a true Gentleman my sympathy to his wife and all his lovely family

Rosaleen, Sandra, Noel, Shay and Sadhbh, I am truly heart broken to hear the passing of the wonderful Seamus. He was a wonderful godfather to me throughout my life. I will cherish the good memories I had throughout my childhood in Abbey quarter. I will always remember Seamus’s incredible sense of humour and the way he could light up any room and make us laugh. May the memory of Seamus’s bright smile and wonderful sense of humour bring you all comfort in those difficult days ahead. I pray for strength for you all at this difficult time.
