Newtown, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Mountcharles, Co. Donegal – peacefully at the University Hospital Galway – surrounded by his loving family on 25th February 2025.
Predeceased by his wife Mary, his parents Joseph and Annie Neacey (née Rodgers), son-in-law John Vitas, brothers Paddy, Manus and Michael.
Beloved father of Maureen and Sheila and adored grandfather to Vicky and Stacey.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Dominic, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane at 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock with all other funeral services available for viewing on Saturday evening at 7 o’clock.
